Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Events include:  

• Reception – meet the OMO dancers and crew
• Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a drink (cash bar)
• OMO performance - sneak preview of Debbie Wilson's latest work
• Salsa demonstration and lesson      
• Tango demonstration and lesson
• Live Salsa band to put all the new Salsa moves out on the dance floor

How to participate:

Make a donation to the company when you join us for a fun filled night and then just sit back and enjoy yourself.

OR – Take part in the Salsa Dance Marathon itself.

What’s a Salsa marathon you ask? It’s like a walk-a-thon only way more fun! To participate all you need to do is get an official OMO pledge sheet, start collecting donations and prepare yourself to laugh a lot while you learn some fancy dance moves.

No previous experience required – this event is designed for dance novices and enthusiasts! You don’t need a partner.  We’ll teach you all you need to know to Salsa alone or to lead your partner on to the dance floor.

You can participate as an individual or form a team with friends – the goal is to raise as much as possible.  Sponsors pledging $20 or more will receive a tax receipt (Canadian charitable registration number 89247 0774 RR0001).  Sponsors can also donate online at www.canadahelps.org by selecting OMO Dance Company and clicking on the “A - 2008 OMO Salsa Marathon donations” fund/designation.
